Peter Cook is a well-known staple of both Spectrum Theatre and Albany Light Opera Theatre Company, and has taken on many different roles backstage — and a few onstage too! He arrives in Albany back in 2001, and soon got into theatre soon afterwards, putting to use the stage-craft he learnt back in his student days.

Peter has stage-managed several productions both at Spectrum and ALOT Co., and was assistant director for the Musical of Musicals at ALOT Co. Recently, Peter’s become a regular lighting and sound operator at Spectrum Theatre.

Peter was awarded a Life Membership at Spectrum Theatre in 2025.
